We’re looking for all kinds of people. In fact one of the most important aspects of the co-op is its diversity. By having a broad range of people living together -- people of different ages, ethnicities, religions, backgrounds, etc. -- there will be that much more opportunity for us to learn from each other.
There are, however, a few things that everyone who lives in the co-op will share -- maturity, responsibility, friendliness, a desire to help make a difference in the world, and a desire to learn from each other.
No matter what issues you care most about -- from education to prison reform, from health care to domestic violence, from drug abuse to the environment, from economic policy to racism -- and no matter how you try to impact those issues -- through your work, by volunteering or making donations, by helping to educate people, or by simply treating others with kindness and respect -- this co-op can help you be more effective.
Co-op Member Profiles
Since the co-op opened in June of 2006, more than a dozen people have lived in the co-op. Click here to meet the current residents. (This link will take you to a website maintained by the co-op members themselves.)
